"Hutan Lipur Serting Ulu" is a well kept recreation parkHutan Lipur Serting Ulu" is a pristine recreation park, situated about 20km to the north of Bahau. It is a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is a well-preserved tropical rain forest and has been developed in stages since 1986. Its flora and fauna are ceaseless delights to nature lovers. To get there, one has to pass through a narrow 2km pathway which can only permit a car to squeeze through.To the less adventurous unwinding at the shore while enjoying the breeze would be an excellent way to relax.   It offers a great opportunity to catch sight of the traditional "kampung" lifestyle. Many houses are built from  the traditional Minangkabau design. Along the route, children can be seen Many houses built from the traditional Minangkabau design could still be in sight.having fun. Buffaloes indulge themselves in mud-bath and basking in the sun. Visitors should exercise extra caution on the imposition left behind by the cows. Upon reaching the park, one would be pleasantly amazed by the cleanliness and tidiness of the place.Its flora and natural inhabitants are ceaseless delights to nature lovers.

A crystal clear stream flows from the top of the hill, its descent marked by a series of cascades. In the park, children "Non-Halal food are not allowed? It is believed that some spirits living on the hill "Orang Bunian" as the Malay called it, like guardians, taking care of the park frolick in the pool and play by the river bank. Picnickers are a frequent sight. To the less adventurous unwinding at the river bank while enjoying the cool, balmy breeze would be an excellent way to relax. One of the best things to do is perhaps to take off one's shoes and step right into the knee-high freezing streams. AnThe park is blessed with many fine specimens of the rain forest trees. exploration was done by the State Forest Department a few years ago. Things like chairs, tables, cooking-pots, sewing machines and lamps were discovered in the tunnel. For serious trekkers it would be an exciting place waiting to be explored.
