The residents of Bahau comprised of three major races. The Malays, Chinese and Indians. Traditionally, the Malays live in villages which cluster around the town, while the Indians largely reside in plantation estates. The Chinese mainly live in the town itself and some housing estates located in the vicinity of the town. With the potpourri of these three rich cultures and customs, the celebrations of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Christmas is of extra significance. [Full story] ......
