Jeram Badoh was the scene of a skirmish between the Malaccan and the Siamese. The hegemony of the Siamese was obvious. The Sultan of Malacca was forever watchful about the naked ambition of the Siamese King. Legend has it that, Datok Malika Badoh, a patriotic warrior managed to halt an onslaught on Malacca by the Siamese. An insider informed the Sultan about an impending Siamese attack.
